JAMES MICHALOVE

James (Jamie) Michalove serves as Head of Acquisitions. He is responsible for originating, structuring, and executing real estate transactions across the capital structure.

Prior to joining Knickpoint, Mr. Michalove worked in acquisitions at Mast Capital in Miami, and within the U.S. Real Estate team at Varde Partners in New York and Minneapolis. During his time at Varde, he was involved in the execution and management of investments across a variety of asset classes and capital structures. Prior to Varde, Mr. Michalove completed an MBA internship within the Real Estate team at Fir Tree Partners, and before this held positions with Eastdil Secured and Barclays Capital in New York.

Mr. Michalove holds a BS from Cornell University and an MBA in Real Estate and Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
